Here on the elbow, arthrocentesis is extremely easy. Find the point of the elbow, the tip of the olecranon, very easy to find in anybody. The most lateral projector on the humerus is the lateral epicondyle, right there, so lateral epicondyle, olecranon. And right in front of them is the radial head, right in front of the lateral epicondyle is the radial head.
That forms an isosceles triangle. You see how that's an isosceles triangle right there? Just go in the center of the triangle, and all that's there is the anconeus muscle and the skin. And that's elbow arthrocentesis. Look how far down you are. See, very easy, right through the anconeus, and you're right in the joint.
