In this video, we will be showing you how to do a sternal clavicle reconstruction with the help of an autograph in a figure eight fashion. And this procedure could be done for a recurrent sternal clavicle or subluxation, or even in the case of a chronic dislocation of the medial end of clavicle or the sternum. And here in this case, this is a patient with recurrent subluxation of the sternal clavicle or joint.
And we'll be doing a figure eight reconstruction with the help of a palmar longus autographed in figure eight fashion, we give a 6 to 8 centimeter incision over the maneuver off clavicle or joint, and then strip the periosteum and the capsule of the medial clavicle for a distance of 4 to 5 centimeters. The capsule should be stripped sufficiently in order to make the clavicle mobile so as to lift it up from the posterior tissues.
