Hello and welcome to Society Street, our final event of 2021. Thank you so much for joining us. We're really delighted to have you all here. And we'd just like to say if there's any of the sessions that you missed through 2021 they are all available on demand on our website. So welcome to the new people who've never been to one of our events before.
And welcome back to many of you who have been joining us throughout the year. So thank you very much. I'm just going to wait a few moments while people come in and get settled before I hand over to our speakers for the day. Just to let you know our chat function is open to all, to contribute and to read. All you need to do I think on the right hand side, there's a box.
You just need to put your name in there. And then you'll be able to chat. The speakers will also be joining us and Society Street people as well, so please do join in. It's great to get the engagement, whether you've just got comments or whether you have questions for our speakers. So we're really looking forward to hearing from Erin Landis, from Jennifer Regala and from Dana Compton today. For the last session of 2021, we are revisiting publications now.
We've touched on publications throughout our sessions this year throughout the theme of innovation and diversification, but we thought it was quite important really to give the topic its own session, given how important it is to societies. So facilitated by Sam, our guests will be exploring their thinking and their experiences in leading their societies through change within publications.
It's time of great change at the moment for us all and not just looking at the content, but also looking at the culture and having a mindset where innovation can flourish. So really looking forward to hearing what they've got to say today. There will be a Zoom meeting afterwards, so don't run away as soon as the sessions finish. Please do wait for the Zoom link, click on the Zoom link and join us for more chat.
Speakers will be available and the team from Society Street will be there as well. So just a big thank you to all of our sponsors, Society Street has been made possible through their generosity, so we would like to thank Wiley and Elsevier. We'd like to thank Atypon, Impact Science, Consort, Research Square as our sponsors and also to say thank you to our conference partner Cadmore Media.
So for those of you who've just joined us, there is a chat function. Please put your name into the right of the screen and do join in on any of the discussions. If you're on Twitter, please do follow us. And also please do use the hashtag SocietyStreet2021 if you're going to do any tweeting throughout the session. So as I said before, at the end, there will be a Zoom meeting for those with further questions,
if you want to chat further. So hopefully I will see some of you there. But without further ado, I'm going to hand you over to Sam and our speakers, so I hope you enjoy the session. Thank you.
