SPEAKER: Forensic Genomics is a new journal that is being published by Mary Ann Liebert out of New Rochelle, New York. We are a journal that's targeting implementation, new forensic techniques, case studies. We really transcend all areas, whether it's a police case report where they had a really interesting study, or a new lab has internally or developmentally validated a new chemistry or a technique. We really want to hear about that, because right now, there's not a great place for that to go.
SPEAKER: If it's implementation of that chemistry into casework, we want to know about it. That way other labs can learn from what you're doing. And it is my personal goal or aspiration that we can really highlight and showcase all of the good work that's being done that some authors just may not think is suitable for a publication. And I'm just here to say that I think it is, and we should put it out there.
SPEAKER: We are a young journal, only a couple of years old. But we are looking to grow our audience, and we are looking to grow our content. And I'm just really hopeful that we can capture some new perspectives, some new science in the pages of our journal.
